A touch of poetry in a complicated world.
United is The One. Everyone is unique. That's why I've chosen to create unique pieces that speak to you. The same inspiration will never produce the same piece. That's why I don't keep stock of the same piece of jewellery. There's only one opportunity to seize!
This is also why you can send me a project for an order that I will study according to its feasibility to create your jewel.
Glass because my first experience of the material was glass and it remains my first love. It's a demanding material that requires constant attention, along with its companion the flame, and the dexterity and patience to shape it. Humility is its synonym, because we are very small when faced with its possibilities and constraints. A tremor, a wrong move and the pearl has to be redone!
If the glass is left out of the flame for longer than necessary, thermal shock threatens to crack the glass. That's why I systematically anneal each of my pieces in a special oven at high temperature for at least 1 hour. This major step eliminates any tension that may remain in the glass, and gives it strength.
After that, I explored steel (which I quite like, more raw), stone (what patience it takes to create a cabochon from raw!) and silver.
It was with pure silver (999/1000th), recycled from the electronics industry using a Japanese process, that I got my 2th I fell in love with it. This precious metal combines elegance, aesthetics and purity, all of which fit in well with my artistic project.
